Thanks to all at Clean Fleet Auto Body in Metairie who, through Clean Fleet Benevolence Program made a difference in the life of one of METRO’s survivors. They and other local companies worked together to refurbish a beautiful car , along with numerous other gifts including maintenance, insurance, clothes, and gift cards, was presented to one a mother of two children who is working hard to establish a secure life for her and her children. The Richard West Freeman Endowment Challenge
With the help of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, METRO has received a grant from the Richard West Freeman Endowment Challenge to create an endowment. The grant matches one dollar to every two dollars donated on behalf of Metro. We are proud to announce that Metro has been successfully accredited through Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault. We are excited to be acknowledged for the quality of our organization. We strive to continue to provide quality services to survivors of sexual assault.
A great need for caring VOLUNTEER'S
Metro is in need of daytime Crisis Call volunteers. All training will be provided by Metro. If you are interested in our continuous efforts to eliminate and prevent domestic violence and sexual assault, please call the 24-hour hotline or fill out an application on our website and e-mail it to the provided address. Training starting in January 2011 for all volunteers. Thank you.
